Öğe ORIGAMI ANTENNA ARRAY SHAPED MOSQUE OF MUHAMMED AL-FATIH FOR VISUAL SIGHT ENHANCEMENT IN MODREN 5G MIMO NETWORKS(Mustansiriyah University College of Engineering, 2023) Hussein, H.; Atasoy, F.; Elwi, T.Origami antenna technology is initiated recently to resolve different relative issue with visual pollution and antenna embedding inside buildings sights. This technology inspired us to invoke historical sites to shape a novel antenna design-based MIMO (Multi-Input and Multi-Output) technology for 5G systems at sub-6GHz frequency bands. In such a matter, the antenna array is designed to be shaped as Muhammad Al-Fatih Mosque. The proposed antenna array is constructed from 2-elements of a 2D array configuration with a separation distance of ?/10 at 2.45GHz. After conducting several parametric studies using CST Microwave studio, the authors reached to the optimal performance of the proposed design. The proposed antenna array is found to show three frequency bands, of matching S11?-6dB, 1.7GHz-2.7GHz, 3.1GHz-3.8GHz, and 4.5GHz-5.1GHz with a gain of 5.2dBi, 6.8dBi, and 8.1dBi, respectively. Nevertheless, it is found that the proposed antenna array mutual coupling, S12, is about-20dB over the entire frequency band of interest. Later, the proposed antenna performance is validated using commercial HFSS software package. Finally, the results from the conducted design methodology are found to agree very well with each other. © 2023, Mustansiriyah University College of Engineering. All rights reserved.Öğe A Printed Monopole Antenna Array Inspired by Historical Cities in Iraq(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2022) Hussein, H.; Atasoy, F.; Elwi, T.A.Multi-input multi-output (MIMO), as we know it is a wireless technology used in different modern wireless communication networks. In this paper, a printed monopole antenna array with a good gain along with excellent matching impedance bandwidth, S11<-10, at 3.4SGHz and 5.8GHz is proposed for MIMO applications over 5G subs-6GHz bands. The antenna element is constructed as a pattern of the historical sites of Iraq mounted on an FR4 Epoxy substrate with 1.5mm. The maximum antenna dimensions are 33.6×20mm2 with a 50? SMA port. The impedance bandwidth achieved by the proposed antenna design is about 130MHz and 380MHz at 3.45GHz and 5.8GHz with an |S11| of -20dB and -31dB, respectively. The antenna gain is found to be 1.5dBi and 3.6dBi at 3.45GHz and 5.5GHz, respectively. The proposed designed antenna array coupling is found to be about -15dB the frequency band of interest. Finally, the proposed antenna performance is calculated and evaluated by CST MWS. © 2022 IEEE.
