In the same way as Janissary Barracks which were cleared away during the reign of Mahmoud II of the Ottoman Empire, the removal of the Bektashi Takkas, which had a close connection with Janissary Barracks since the beginning of the time, came into questioning. While being closed, the belongings of these takkas were sold in an auction and its money was sent to the treasury of Mansure to support the needs of the recently set-up army of the Asakir- i Mansure-i Muhammediyye.en_US
