dc.description.abstractKeloids are benign proliferative lesions caused byabnormalhealing.Treatmentofkeloidsisverydifficult due to high recurrence rates. In keloids, thereare many treatment modalities that can vary accordingto lesion size, localization, and previous interventions.A17-year-oldfemalepatientpresentedwithaposterior ear keloid that developed after pearcing intoher ear. The shaving excision was treated with a triplecombination consisting of single session intralesionalsteroidinjectionanddailytopicalimiquimodapplication for six weeks. Within one year, a verygood response was obtained without recurrence or anyside effect.en_US
