This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between educational stress and attitudes towards distance education of midwifery department students. The study was carried out as a descriptive type in the Midwifery Department of Karabük University, Faculty of Health Sciences, at the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year. In the study, a study was planned with 222 students with a 95% reliability and 5% error margin using the known universe sampling method, the number of students to be selected according to their class levels was determined by the stratification method, and the study was completed with 236 students. Data were collected using the personal information form and the "Educational Stress Scale" and "Attitude Towards Distance Education Scale", and face-to-face interview method. Independent-Samples T test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson correlation analyzes were used in the evaluation of the data. Statistical significance level was accepted as p<0.05. No significant correlation was found between educational stress and attitude towards distance education. However, a low level negative correlation was found between the educational stress “self-expectation” sub-dimension and attitude towards distance education. In the study, while the educational stress of the students was found to be at a moderate level (50.45±8.99), it was determined that there was a moderately positive attitude towards distance education (85.69±23.32) and as self-expectations increased, the attitude towards distance education became negative (p<0.05).
