The interest-free banking system, which entered the global economic literature, emerged as an idea with great success seventy years ago, and this success led to the establishment of many participating banks around the world. The development of the economy has led to the expansion of banking activities, and in the light of the multiplicity and increase of banks, so-called competition has emerged, since the purpose of banks is no longer to make profits, but to continue to work, so is to analyze their financial statements to know its strengths and weaknesses and know the banking security indicator, which is a warning. It is necessary to know their performance as well. It is an early warning to the extent of the banking sector's sensitivity and vulnerability to crises. The financial crisis that has hit the global economy since its emergence in 2019 is one of the most severe of these crises, and the severity of this crisis stems from its impact on all world economies, such as business transactions and stock markets through financial institutions, banking sectors, and banking institutions. This crisis caused slowdown in economic activities and economic recession directly or indirectly in the banking sector. In this thesis, the profit performance of Turkish participation banks is evaluated using the CAMELS system, since profitability is a basic and necessary target for the survival and continuity of institutions and is also a measure to evaluate the effectiveness of management. In order to find out to what extent the Turkish participation banking sector was affected by the crisis in this period when the Covid 19 virus was spreading, the researcher evaluated the profitability of five banks as the financial evaluation of participation banks performance is an important issue for many researchers and interested parties: Albaraka Türk Katılım Bankası, Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası, Türkiye Finans Katılım Bankası, Ziraat Katılım Bankası, Vakıf Katılım Bankası. As the Turkish economy has the financial strength to face the risks, it has not been affected much by the corona virus crisis. At the same time, sectors such as health, textile and ready-made clothing have turned to Turkey instead of China and European countries. For this reason, the demand for Turkish goods and products has doubled. Thus, Turkey overcame the effects of the crisis with the highest transparency standards and gained the trust of foreign markets."
