GEBELERİN COVID-19 SÜRECİNDE ANSİYETE, DURUMLUK VE SÜREKLİ KAYGI DÜZEYLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Küresel olarak dünyayı etkisi altına alan COVID-19 salgını yayılım göstermesi ile birlikte salgın ile ilgili çeşitli sorunlarda ortaya çıkışmış bulunmaktadır. Ruhsal hastalıklar dünyada önemli ölçüde artış göstermektedir. Gebelik dönemi, ruh sağlığı rahatsızlıklarının gelişmesi ve var olan hastalıkların artış göstermesinde için risk faktörü olarak belirtilmiştir COVID-19 salgını sürecinden bu sebeple gebe kadınların ruhsal yönden daha çok etkilenebilecekleri düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada tüm dünyada yayılarak küresel bir boyut kazanan COVID-19’un gebelerin; gebelik süreçlerinde algılanan anksiyete ve kaygı düzeyine etkisi saptanması ve amaca uygun önerilerin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma Ankara Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Polikliniğine 27 Ekim 2022- 27 Aralık 2022 tarihleri arasında başvuran yalnızca gebelik tanısı almış takipli gebeler arasından araştırma kriterlerine uyan, sağlıklı iletişim kurulabilen, bilinen kronik ve psikiyatrik bir hastalığı olmayan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 402 gebe ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılımcılara sosyodemografik veri formu, BECK Anksiyete Ölçek Formu, Durumluk Kaygı ve Sürekli Kaygı Ölçeğinden oluşan anket formu uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizler için SPSS v20.0 (IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 20.0; Armonk, NY, USA) paket programı kullanılmış. Çalışma analizleri %95 güven aralığı ve p<0,05 anlamlılık düzeyinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmaya 402 gebe kadın dahil edilmiştir. Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 26,04±4,84 standart sapma (SS) yıldır. BECK Anksiyete Ölçeği (BAÖ) puan ortalamasının 16,94±11,22, Durumluk Kaygı Ölçeği (DKÖ) puan ortalamasının 41,83±16,23, Sürekli Kaygı Ölçeği (SKÖ) puan ortalamasının ise 44,20±13,07 olduğu saptanmıştır. Gebelerin %11,4’ünün (n=46) gebelikten önce, %0,0’inin (n=0) ise gebelikte COVID-19 enfeksiyonu geçirdiği görülmüştür. Gebelerin gebelik döneminde, doğum ve doğum sonrası dönem için anksiyete ve kaygı düzeylerini azaltmak; anne-bebek sağlığı ve doğum eyleminin sağlıklı ilerlemesi açısından önemlidir. Psikiyatrik sorunların bu süreçte birçok komplikasyonla ilişkilendirildiği göz önüne alındığında salgın durumlarında gebe popülasyonun, ruh sağlığı değerlendirmesinin öncelikli öneme sahip olduğu; anksiyete ve kaygılarına yönelik gerekli desteğin verilmesi gerektiği söylenilebilir.
With the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected the world globally, various problems related to the pandemic have emerged. Mental illnesses are increasing significantly in the world. Pregnancy period has been stated as a risk factor for the development of mental health disorders and the increase of existing diseases. Therefore, it is thought that pregnant women may be more mentally affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of COVID-19, which spread all over the world and gained a global dimension, on the level of anxiety and anxiety perceived by pregnant women during pregnancy and to develop appropriate recommendations. The study was carried out with 402 pregnant women who met the research criteria, could communicate well, did not have a known chronic and psychiatric disease, and agreed to participate in the study among the pregnant women who applied to the Ankara Training and Research Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Polyclinic between 27 October 2022 and 27 December 2022. A questionnaire consisting of a socio-demographic data form, BECK Anxiety Scale Form, State Anxiety and Trait Anxiety Scale was applied to the participants. SPSS v20.0 (IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, Version 20.0; Armonk, NY, USA) package programme was used for statistical analyses. The study analyses were examined at 95% confidence interval and p<0.05 significance level. The study included 402 pregnant women. The mean age of the participants was 26.04±4.84 standard deviation (SD) years. The mean BECK Anxiety Scale (BAS) score was 16.94±11.22, the mean State Anxiety Scale (SAS) score was 41.83±16.23, and the mean Trait Anxiety Scale (SCS) score was 44.20±13.07. It was observed that 11.4% (n=46) of the pregnant women had COVID-19 infection before pregnancy and 0.0% (n=0) had COVID-19 infection during pregnancy. Reducing anxiety and anxiety levels of pregnant women during pregnancy, labour and postnatal period is important for mother-baby health and healthy progress of labour. Considering that psychiatric problems are associated with many complications in this process, it can be said that mental health assessment of the pregnant population is of primary importance in epidemic situations; necessary support should be provided for anxiety and anxiety."
