| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışma pilonidal sinüs ameliyatı öncesi verilen eğitimin hastaların anksiyete durumuna ve konforuna etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla yarı deneysel olarak yapıldı. Araştırmanın örneklemini kapalı zarf yöntemi ile seçilen toplam 70 hasta oluşturdu. Verilerin toplanmasında kişisel tanıtım formu, durumluk-sürekli kaygı envanteri, genel konfor ölçeği, hasta eğitim kitapçığı ve sağlıklı davranış kontrol listesi kullanıldı. Çalışmada verilerin analizinde yüzde, ortalama, t Test, Mann Whitney U Testi ile ANOVA testi kullanıldı. Anlamlılık düzeyi olarak 0,05 alındı. Çalışmada çalışma ve kontrol grubunda yer alan hastaların durumluk-sürekli kaygı ölçeği puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmadı (p>0,05). Çalışma grubundaki hastaların konfor ölçeği alt boyutları olan ferahlama ve sorunların üstesinden gelme puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmadı (p>0,05), grupların konfor ölçeği alt boyutu olan rahatlama puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı fark bulundu (p<0,05). Ancak çalışma grubunda yer alan hastaların diğer gruba göre daha fazla miktarda sıvı tüketme ve ameliyat bölgesini kuru tutma gibi olumlu davranışlar sergiledikleri görüldü (p<0,05). Sonuç olarak pilonidal sinüs ameliyatı öncesi verilen eğitimin anksiyete durumlarına ve konforları üzerinde etkili olmadığı belirlendi. Pilonidal sinüs ameliyatı öncesi verilmesi planlanan eğitimin etkinliğinin daha geniş populasyonda taburculuktan 1 ay sonra yapılması ve aynı cerrahi teknikle ameliyat olan hastaların anksiyete ve konforlarının incelenmesi gerektiği önerildi. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | This study was carried out semi-experimental type to assess the effect of training given before the Pilonidal Sinus surgery on the anxiety and comfort levels of patients. A total of 70 patients selected through sealed envelope method composed the cross-section of the research. Personal identification form, state-trait anxiety inventory, general comfort questionnaire, patient-training leaflet and behavior control scale used to collect data. Percentage, average, t-test, Mann Whitney U test and ANOVA test used in the data analysis for the study. The significance level was accepted as 0,05. A significant distinction didn't found out in the study between the state-trait anxiety inventory score averages of experimental and control group of patients (p>0,05). A significant distinction determined between the average scores in the relaxation and dealing with problems, two of the sub-dimensions of comfort questionnaire (p>0,05), either; but a significant distinction has been found between the relief score averages, which is also a sub-dimension of comfort questionnaire (p<0,05). However, the patients in the experimental group were observed to show better attitudes such as consuming more fluid and keeping the operation zone dry when compared to control group (p<0,05). In consequence, it deduced that the training given before the pilonidal sinus operation does not have an effect on the anxiety and comfort states. The training to be given before pilonidal sinus surgery has been suggested to be given to the patients having operation through the same technique in a wider population, especially one month after the discharge. | en_US |
