Üniversite Öğrenci Yurtlarının Hizmet Kalite Algısının Ölçülmesi: Karabük İli Yurtlarında Bir Uygulama

Özet
Üniversite eğitimi alan öğrencilerin en önemli ihtiyacı barınmadır. Öğrencilerin barınma sorununu çözebilmeleri için kendilerine uygun kalitede öğrenci yurtlarını araştırmaları gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Karabük ilinde özel ve kamu öğrenci yurtlarının hizmet kalitesi bağlamında öğrencilere yönelik memnuniyetlerinin belirlenmesidir. Yurtlarda hizmet kalitesi ile ilgili yapılan araştırmaların ve çalışmaların, üniversite öğrencilerin geleceğe hazırlanmasında büyük bir önem arz ettiği görülmüştür. Çalışmanın, özel ve kamu öğrenci yurtlarında hizmet kalitesini artırarak yurtta kalan öğrencilerin memnuniyetlerinin sağlanması açısından önemli bir kaynak teşkil edeceği tahmin edilmiştir. Yurtta barınan öğrencilerin memnuniyet düzeylerinin ve aldıkları hizmetlere yönelik düşüncelerinin ortaya konulmaya çalışıldığı bu araştırmada, verilerin analizi için istatistiksel yöntem olarak t-testi, tanımlayıcı istatistikler, kolerasyon, oneway ANOVA ve regresyon analiz yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğrencilerin barınma ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak amacıyla özel yurtları veya kamu yurtlarını seçme sebepleri belirlenmiştir. Yurtlarda memnuniyet düzeyleri yüksek olan öğrencilerin, yükseköğrenimleri boyunca barınma ihtiyacını memnun kaldıkları öğrenci yurdunda karşılamaya devam ettikleri görülmüştür. Ayrıca kaldıkları yurtta memnun olan öğrenciler yurdu başka öğrencilere de tavsiye etmiştir.
The most important need of university students is housing. In order to solve the housing problem, the students who are going to study at university should search for suitable dormitories. The aim of this study is to determine the satisfaction of students with service quality of private and public student dormitories. Research and studies on service quality in dormitories is a great importance in prepairing university students for the future. The study constitutes an important resource in terms of ensuring the satisfaction of the students staying in the dormitories by increasing the service quality in private and public student dormitories. The opinions of the students living in the dormitories about their satisfaction levels and services they receive are presented in this research. T-test, descriptive statistics, correlation, oneway ANOVA and regression analysis were used as statistical methods for the analysis of data. As a result of the research, the reasons for choosing private or public dormitories were determined to meet the housing needs of students. Students who have high levels of satisfaction in the dormitories continue to meet the need for accommodation in the dormitory where they are satisfied. Students who are satisfied with the dormitory also recommended the dormitory to other students."
