dc.description.abstract | Epidermoid cyst of the spleen, is a rare cystic disease of spleen and generally asymptomatic. 11 years old girl was admitted to our clinic with intermittent abdominal pain. 10 cm diameter multilocular cystic lesion with smooth contour in the spleen was detected during abdominal imaging. The patient underwent splenectomy operation. Pathological examination revealed conjenital splenic epidermoid cyst. The etiology, diagnosis, treatment and histopathologic findings of this rare disease are discussed in this article. © Cocuk Cerrahisi Dergisi. All rights reserved. | en_US |
