dc.description.abstractAna metal sanayi sektörü sahip olduğu istihdam gücü ve ekonomideki önemli rolü nedeniyle ülke ekonomilerinin başta gelen sektörü konumundadır. Söz konusu sektörde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin yoğun rekabet ortamında ayakta kalabilmesi için başarılı bir finansal yapıya ve sürdürülebilir bir performansa sahip olmaları gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmada Borsa İstanbul’da ana metal sanayi sektöründe faaliyet gösteren 17 işletmenin sektör bazlı finansal performans ölçümlerinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. 2016-2020 dönemini kapsayan çalışmada ilk önce, işletmelerin ve sektörün performanslarını belirlemek için finansal oranlar hesaplanmıştır. Daha sonra CRITIC yöntemiyle oranların ağırlıkları tespit edilmiş, WASPAS yöntemiyle ise işletmelerin ve sektörün performans sıralamaları tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda 2016 ve 2020 yıllarında 7, 2017, 2018 ve 2019 yıllarında da 8 işletme sektörün performansının üzerinde performans sergilediği belirlenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe basic metal industry sector is the leading sector of the country's economy due to its employment power and its important role in the economy. Businesses operating in the sector, must have a successful financial structure and sustainable performance in order to survive in an intensely competitive environment. In this study, it is aimed to make sector-based financial performance measurements of 17 companies operating in the basic metal industry sector in Borsa Istanbul. In the study covering the period of 2016-2020, firstly, financial ratios were calculated to determine the performances of businesses and basic metal industry sector. Then, the weights of the ratios were determined with the CRITIC method, and the performance rankings of the enterprises and the sector were determined with the WASPAS method. As a result of the study, it was determined that 7 enterprises in 2016 and 2020, and 8 enterprises in 2017, 2018 and 2019 outperformed the sector."en_US]
