dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, Borsa İstanbul (BIST) gıda sektöründeki şirketlerin finansal sıkıntı durumunu Springate ve Altman Z Skoru modellerini kullanarak analiz etmektir. Araştırmanın verisini, BIST’te işlem gören ve gıda sektöründe yer alan şirketlerin 2018-2022 yıllarına ait finansal tabloları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, örneklem dönemi içerisinde gıda sektörü firmalarının çoğunluğunun finansal açıdan sağlıklı bir durumda olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Modellerin sonuçları karşılaştırıldığında, Springate modeli Altman modellerine göre daha fazla sayıda şirketin finansal sıkıntı içerisinde olduğu yönünde sonuç vermiştir. Buna karşın modellerin benzer sonuç verdiği şirketlerin sayısının daha fazla olduğu söylenebilir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to analyze the financial distress of food firms listed on Borsa Istanbul (BIST) by using Springate and Altman Z Score models. The data of the study consists of the financial statements of these companies for the years 2018-2022. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that the majority of food sector firms were in a financially healthy situation during the sample period. When the results of the models are compared, the Springate model has shown that more companies are in financial distress than Altman models. On the other hand, it can be said that the number of companies with similar results is higher."en_US]
