In this study, the effects of drilling parameters on the thrust force (Fz), surface roughness (Ra) and delamination factor (Fd) were investigated in drilling with uncoated WC, TiAlN and diamond coated WC drills by applying dry minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) and dry method of CFRP composites. Drilling experiments were performed by using three different levels of drill point angle, cutting speed and feed rate. For thrust force measurements, dynamometers and equipments of Kistler 9272 type were used. It has been found that the thrust force and delamination obtained by using MQL method is lower than that obtained under dry cutting conditions. However, surface roughness values were found to be higher in MQL application. The effects of drilling parameters on Fz, Ra and Fd were determined by variance analysis (ANOVA) performed at 95% confidence level and it was determined that the feed rate was the most effective parameter on the drillability of CFRP composites.
