dc.description.abstractOsmanlı döneminde ticaret merkezi tek bir bölgede yapılmaktadır. Bu tek bölge olan ticaret merkezi ise arastalardan, bedestenlerden, çarşılardan oluşmaktadır. Bu ticari yapılardan arastalar, belli bir ürün grubunun satışının yapıldığı dükkanlardan oluşmaktadır. Günümüze kadar ulaşabilmiş arastaların yanı sıra, ilgisizlik ve bakımsızlıktan bozulmuş, tarihi dokusunu kaybetmiş ve çağın gereksinimleri doğrultusunda işlevselliğini kısmen yitirmiş arastalar da mevcuttur. Bolu iline bağlı Gerede ilçesinde yer alan Gerede Arastası, bu özellikteki arastalardan biridir. Bu nedenle Gerede Arastası'nın incelenmesi, değerlendirilmesi, sağlıklaştırılarak modernizasyonunun yapılması çalışmanın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Konu bağlamında Gerede Arastası'nın mimari ve çevresel dokusu araştırılmış, belgelenmiş, rehabilitasyonu üzerine bir cephe önerisi getirilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractDuring the Ottoman period, the trade center was built in a single region. This single region trade center consists of ottoman bazaars, covered bazaars, and markets. Ottoman bazaars which is one of the those commercial buildings consist of several shops where a certain product group is sold. In addition to the ottoman bazaars that have survived to the present day, there are also ottoman bazaars that have been ruined because of indifference and estrepement, have lost their historical texture, and partially lost their functionality in line with the requirements of the era. Gerede Arastası, which is located in Gerede district of Bolu province, is one of those ottoman bazaars. For this reason, the purpose of the study is to examine, evaluate, and modernize the Gerede Arastası. In this context, the architectural and environmental texture of Gerede Arastasi is investigated, documented and a facade proposal on improvement is performed.en_US
