Özet
Bu çalışma, Sarıçam (Pinus sylvestris L.) ve Doğu kayını (Fagus orientalis L.) odunu üzerine uygulanan, nanopartiküller ile modifiye edilen su bazlı vernik ve cam cila verniklerinin bazı fiziksel ve mekanik özelliklerinin incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla; sarıçam ve Doğu kayını örneklerinden 2 vernik (su bazlı, cam cila), 2 kimyasal (SiO?, TiO?) ve % 2 oran (%1, %3) olmak üzere 8 farklı kombinasyonda örnekler hazırlanmıştır. Deney örnekleri ASTM D 3023 esaslarına göre verniklenmiş ve daha sonra üç hafta süre ile laboratuar koşullarında kurumaya bırakılmıştır. Verniklerin yüzeye yapışma direnci ASTM D 4541, renk değeri ASTM D 2244, parlaklık değeri ASTM D 523, katı madde miktarı TS 1752 ve yüzey pürüzlülüğü TS 2495 EN ISO 3274 ve TS 6212 EN ISO 4288 standartlarına göre belirlenmiştir.
This research was made to investigate physical and mechanical properties of water based varnish and glass lacquer varnish modified by nanoparticles and applied over wood of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) and Oriental beech (Fagus orientalis L.). For this purpose, 8 different combinations of 2 varnish types (water based and glass lacquer), 2 chemicals (SiO? and TiO?) and 2 ratios (1% and 3%) were sampled over Scots pine and Oriental beech. After the test samples were varnished in accordance with ASTM D3023, they were allowed to dry under normal conditions for three weeks. Pull-off adhesion strength of the varnishes was determined according to ASTM D4541, color scales according to ASTM D2244, gloss ratings according to ASTM D523, volatile and non-volatile matters according to TS 1752 and surface roughness according to TS 2495 EN ISO 3274 ve TS 6212 EN ISO 4288 basis.
