The study is a cross-sectional study conducted to evaluate covid-19 fears and prenatal adaptation of pregnant women during the pandemic. The sample of the study consisted of 400 pregnant women who applied to a training and research hospital between December 2021- May 2022 and met the inclusion criteria. Data were collected using the ""Personal Information Form"", "" Covid-19 Fear Scale"", and "" Prenatal Self Evaluation Questionnaire (PSEQ)"". The researcher collected the research data by face-to-face technique from the pregnant women whose consent was obtained after providing the necessary information. The research data were analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 25.0 program and evaluated using descriptive statistical methods such as number, percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, median, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-wallis, Bonferroni test and Spearman correlation analysis. The mean Covid-19 Fear Scale score was 12.18 ± 4.41 and the mean PSEQ was 141.79 ± 18.19. In the study, it was found that there was a statistically significant positive weak relationship between the Covid-19 Fear Scale and the PSEQ (r=0.184, p<0.05). From this study, it was concluded that pregnant women with high fear of Covid-19 had low levels of prenatal adaptation. In addition, it was determined that there was a statistically significant relationship between prenatal adaptation and Covid-19 fear levels in pregnant women and the variables of occupation, economic status, cohabitants, presence of undiagnosed mental distress during pregnancy and number of pregnancies. Pregnant women, like every individual in the society, can be adversely affected in pandemic situations such as the Covid-19 pandemic. It is very important to provide maternal and child health services by considering the pandemic effect for the continuation of healthy societies in the pandemic we are experiencing or in epidemic situations that may occur in the future."
