Özet
Bu çalışmada, bir alüminyum borat bileşiği kullanılarak Kongo kırmızısı ve metil mavisi boyar maddelerinin sulu ortamından uzaklaştırılması işlemi, deneysel olarak bir spektrofotometre kullanılarak incelenmiştir. İlk olarak bir alüminyum borat bileşiği (K2Al2B2O7) yanma yöntemiyle sentezlenmiştir. Sentezlenen adsorbanın yapısal özellikleri XRD ve FTIR cihazları kullanılarak karakterize edilmiştir. Bu adsorbanın kullanılması suretiyle Kongo kırmızısı ve metil mavisi çözeltilerinin renk giderim özelliği spektrofotometre cihazında sırasıyla 499 ve 590 nm’de ölçülmüştür. Her iki boyar maddenin renk giderim kapasiteleri, adsorban miktarı ve temas süresi gibi iki faktör kullanılarak sulu ortamda ve oda sıcaklığında ölçülmüştür. Son olarak Kongo kırmızısı ve metil mavisi boyar maddelerinin adsorpsiyon verimleri sırasıyla %44,5 ve %98,57 olarak hesaplanmıştır.
In this study, the removal of Congo Red and Methyl Blue dyes from aqueous media using an aluminum borate compound was examined experimentally using a spectrophotometer. First, an aluminum borate compound (K2Al2B2O7) was synthesized by the combustion method. The structural properties of the synthesized adsorbent were characterized using XRD and FTIR devices. Using the synthesized adsorbent, the color removal properties of Congo Red and Methyl blue solutions were measured on a spectrophotometer device at 499 and 590 nm, respectively. The color removal capacities of both dyes from aqueous media were measured at room temperature by using two factors such as adsorbent amount and contact time. Finally, the adsorption efficiencies of Congo Red and Methyl Blue dyes were calculated as 44.5% and 98.57%, respectively."
