Color is an aesthetic element that we use to give meaning to objects. Due to its spiritual and physical effects, it is an important design element used in the design of the built environment. With the effective use of colors on building facades, it is possible to create unique architectural textures and regional-urban attraction points in the built environment. Although it is an important element with its symbolic, formal and functional meanings, it is not considered important enough in the fields of architecture and urban design today. The necessity of questioning the place of colored facades in architectural design and analyzing them within the framework of a model is the main construct of the study. In this context, on the building area -5000-Evler 28.Street -in the building facades, suggestion silhouettes were created in line with the basic design principles and color contrasts. At this point, in this study, attention was paid to the necessity of design principles and color in facade designs. The study was conducted in Norway, which is the country where color usage is the most intense in building surfaces in the world. Criteria for using color on the building faces were determined. The pre and post views of the silhouettes designed by the survey study conducted within the scope of the study were evaluated by the local people / user group. The feelings and effectiveness levels of colorful settlements examined in Norway are measured by the users living in the study area."
