Öğe BCS Superconductivity of Dirac Electrons in Graphene Monolayer(Springer, 2019) Askerbeyli, R. T. Tagiyeva; Askerzade, I. N.In this work, we use the standard Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) model for Dirac superconductors. We consider the thickness of graphene and substrate material layer in calculation of the Coulomb potential and estimate critical temperature T-c. We also analyze the influence of electron density on the electron-phonon interaction and Coulomb pseudopotential in graphene. Furthermore, we estimate the factor of isotopic shifting in graphene monolayer on substrate.Öğe Critical current of dc SQUID on Josephson junctions with unconventional current-phase relation(Aip Publishing, 2020) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R. T.Here we present calculations of the critical current of dc SQUID based on Josephson junction with un-conventional current-phase relation. We analyzed two cases of current-phase relation of junction: with anhar-monic and Majorana term. It is shown that the changing of the critical current in the case of the small geo-metrical inductance of dc SQUID based on Josephson junctions with unconventional current-phase relation is determined by the amplitude of the second term in current-phase relation, the geometrical inductance of dc SQUID and external magnetic field. In the case of the high inductance of dc SQUID unconventional terms can be ignored.Öğe Effect of unconventional current-phase relation of Josephson junction on escape rate in ac SQUID(Elsevier, 2022) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R. T.; Ulku, I.The escape rate of S -> R switching (from superconducting S state to unstable resistive R state) in an ac SQUID on Josephson junction with unconventional current-phase relation was investigated. We used two types of currentphase relations with additional terms to the first harmonic sin phi: a case of the second harmonic sin2 phi and a case of the fractional term sin(phi/2). It was shown that escape rate can exhibit qualitative features in the case of junctions with unconventional current-phase relations.Öğe Energy spectrum of a Josephson-junction qubit with an anharmonic current-phase relationship(Pleiades Publishing Inc, 2015) Askerzade, I. N.; Hashimoglu, I.The energy spectrum of a Josephson single-junction quantum bit, qubit with an anharmonic current-phase relationship is studied. The influence of the second harmonic amplitude in the current-phase relationship on the energy difference between qubit states is analyzed.Öğe Escape rate in ac SQUID on josephson junction based on single- and multi-band superconductors in thermal activation regime(Aip Publishing, 2023) Aydin, A.; Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R.The escape rate of S -> R switching (from superconducting S state to unstable resistive R state) in an ac SQUID with Josephson junction based on single- and multi-band superconductors is investigated by taking the frustration effects in a multi-band superconducting state into account. Using the effective critical current approach, it is shown that the escape rate in thermal activation regime can manifest qualitative features caused by the frustration effects in two- and three-band superconductors.Öğe Fluctuation conductivity in two-band superconductor SmFeAsO0.8F0.2(De Gruyter Poland Sp Zoo, 2015) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R. T. TagiyevaIn this study we have calculated the fluctuation conductivity near critical temperature of SmFeAsO0.8F0.2 superconductor using two-band Ginzburg-Landau theory. It was illustrated that in the absence of external magnetic field, the two-band model reduced to a single effective band theory with modified temperature dependences. The calculations revealed three-dimensional character of fluctuations of conductivity in the new Fe-based superconductor SmFeAsO0.8F0.2. It has been shown that such a model is in good agreement with experimental data for this compound.Öğe Oxygen Isotope Exponent as a Function of the Numbers of CuO2 Layers in Optimally Doped Superconductors Bi2Sr2Ca n-1Cu n O2n+4+? (n=1, 2, 3)(Springer, 2018) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R. T. TagiyevaIn this study, we carried out an analysis of the oxygen isotope exponent in optimally doped Bi2Sr2Ca (n-1) Cu (n) O2n+4 + delta ( n = 1,2,3). The expression in the strong electron-phonon coupling approach for the isotope exponent taking into account numbers of CuO2 layers in the unit cell was obtained. It is shown that increasing numbers of CuO2 layers lead to the decreasing of the isotope exponent, which is in agreement with available experimental data.Öğe Plasmon spectrum of graphene monolayer on substrate(World Scientific Publ Co Pte Ltd, 2019) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R. T.Plasmon modes in monolayer graphene on substrate are analyzed taking into account the thickness of graphene and substrate material layer in the evaluation of Coulomb potential. It is shown that plasmon mode in graphene monolayer has linear dispersion in contrast to multilayer graphene in long-wavelength limit. The slope of plasmon spectrum is determined by the thickness and dielectric constant of substrate. Obtained results are in good agreement with experimental data and other theoretical considerations.Öğe Return current of dc SQUID based on tunnel Josephson junctions with unconventional current-phase relation(Amer Inst Physics, 2021) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R.We carried out the analysis of the return current of dc SQUID based on tunnel Josephson junction with unconventional current-phase relation. We analyzed two cases of current-phase relation with additional terms to the first harmonic sin phi: a case of the second harmonic sin 2 phi and the case of the fractional term sin (phi/2). It is shown that the changing of the return current of dc SQUID on junctions with unconventional current-phase relation is determined by the amplitude of the second term in current-phase relation, geometrical inductance, and external magnetic field.Öğe THERMAL ACTIVATION IN SMALL JOSEPHSON JUNCTION(Baku State Univ, 2019) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R. T.In this study we carried out the analysis of the thermal activation of small Josephson junction (JJ). An expression for the fluctuation of Coulomb blockade edge in the case of low and high growing rate of voltage was obtained. It was shown that dynamics of small size JJ under termal fluctuations is determined by the energy ratio-parameter, temperature and growing rate of voltage.Öğe TWO-BAND GINZBURG-LANDAU EQUATIONS: NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS(Baku State Univ, Inst Applied Mathematics, 2018) Askerzade, I. N.; Askerbeyli, R. T.[No abstract available]
